Asif Satchu was previously the Chairman and co-Founder of SMKT. SMKT was a supply chain management company, which was backed by the KKR, Sequoia Capital, Madison Dearborn, Fenway Partners, Battery Ventures, Fleet Equity Partners, Hicks Muse and Onex Capital. Asif Satchu sold SMKT for about $1.0 billion.

Asif Satchu's career began at Morgan Stanley & Co. He worked as an investment professional at Tiger Management Company and private equity fund Westbrook Partners (a $700 million private equity fund.

Asif Satchu is also a lead sponsor to the HBS Business Plan Competition and a member of the board for the Arthur Roc Center Entrepreneurship.
